Kevin McCall
My name is Kevin McCall. I’m in my sophomore year at Ithaca College where I attend the Roy H. Park School of Communications. I want to major in journalism, but I’m unsure of where that degree will take me. Right now I’m a writer for the weekly and online daily newspaper the Ithacan and the online publication ImPrint Magazine. I do a weekly sports casts on the radio stations and have done some reporting for televisions shows on ICTV. At the Park School I’m also a Dean’s Host and a member of the Society of Professional Journalists. Organizations I am a part of outside of the Park School are Colleges Against Cancer and the IC Catholic Community.
Anyone who knows me knows I’m all about sports. I’m a fan of all sports except golf and NASCAR. I am not so much a player, but more of a spectator and observer. I like the core four of the NHL, NBA, MLB and NFL with some NCAA Sports mixed in. I watch the New York Islanders and the New York Knicks but my two main teams are the NY Mets and the J! E! T! S! JETS! JETS! JETS! I feel like I personify the under dog, and that’s reflected in the teams I root for and the wide variety of activities I participate in. I’m a big believer of having balance in your life. That’s all folks, hope you enjoy my work.
